Bandra

Compact rigs
for Bandra.

Bandra is restaurants, rooftops, terraces and flats — smaller rooms, closer neighbours, and lanes a tempo cannot always get down. The skill here is making a small rig sound big, and keeping it off the balcony next door.

Small room, big sound

A terrace for eighty people does not want a wedding rig. It wants a compact system with real low end, placed so the room is even and nobody is standing in front of a stack shouting over it. Oversizing a small venue is the most common mistake we get called in to fix — it does not sound impressive, it sounds loud and tiring, and it empties a floor earlier than the music does.

The neighbours are two metres away

On a Bandra rooftop somebody's bedroom window is closer than the bar. We aim the boxes inwards and downwards rather than letting them fire out over the parapet, keep the subs off a shared wall where bass travels straight through the structure, and we watch the clock. A complaint ends an event faster than a blown speaker does.

Getting the gear in

Narrow lanes, no loading bay, a lift that takes four people, and a parking situation that changes by the hour. We plan the load-in around what the building can take, bring a rig that fits in the lift, and get in and out without a van sitting across somebody's gate for three hours.

Questions.

Yes. We supply compact systems for rooftops, terraces, restaurants and flats, sized to the space and aimed to keep the level on your floor rather than the neighbours'.

Yes. Tell us the cut-off and we plan the setup, the level and the pack-up around it.
